Which one is yours?  Cancer, Heart conditions, Diabetes, MS, Fibromyalgia, Parkinson's, ALS Disease, Chronic Fatigue just to state a few.
Why me?  Why my loved one?  What did we do wrong?
I too have prayed and nothing is happening?
How long do I have?
Does God care or even know?
 

2James 5:14-16  Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.

Mark 16:17-18   And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."

2 Cor 12:7-10  To keep me from becoming conceited there was given me a thorn in my flesh.  Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.". For when I am weak, then I am strong.

1 Cor 12:28  And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others

John 9:2-4  who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" "Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life.

Ps 66:18  If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened

Matt 11:28-30   "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
 

Probably everyone in the world has been touched directly or very closely by major health losses.  Doctors reports have shattered the expectations of too many lives.  Then begins the endless appointments, treatments and hours spent traveling and waiting.  Never really knowing if anything is changing or ever will.  Three questions remain:  will I get better?:  how will I cope?:  how  will my life end?  Often there are no answers and at times little hope.  There can be never ending pain or too much silence.

You can find hope, some answers and definitely compassionate companionship today.  Jesus Christ invites people to cast all their cares upon Him for He cares for you.  Maybe this illness will do something for you much greater than your losses.  Could it be that God has gotten you attention right now, so you take time to listen and to get to know Him.  In the process He may heal you or at least enable you through this time with strength you can get no where else.  But more you may find forgiveness and assurance of eternal life if you seek Him.  If you take time with Him you will find some of the answers that elude you.
